The magnetic fields obstruct the heat from reaching the surface of the spots thus keeping them cool. - The matter which sun throws away in space is termed as the solar wind. - Uranus was discovered by Sir William Herschel. Hence it is also called the George’s Star. - Jupiter has 4 moons namely, Ganymede, Europa, Io and Callisto. - Pluto was earlier known as a planet. After 2006, the definition of planets changed and now it is designated as the Dwarf Planet. - The hottest planet in the solar system is Venus. This is because of its proximity to the Sun. The temperature of the planet is above 450 degrees. - The mass of supernovas is 30 times more than the mass in the Sun. - Temperature is the reason of the star’s color. - 1 year on Pluto is equal to 248 years on Earth.
