Her hands were shivering and body temperature was falling down. A 0.5 degree Celsius decrease would cause hypothermia. She tried with all energy to release herself from that knot. But she couldn’t do even move her body. With her legs and hands tied, she was screaming for help and to survive in that freezer. Even her saliva and tears were getting frozen.
Her body temperature went down to 90 degree Fahrenheit and still she was choking. She couldn't utter a word and her breathing became impossible. With her eye balls protruding outside she died staring at the paper " MORE YOU SCREAM MORE YOU LIVE…. ”.
His vengeance filled eyes were watching everything. He stroke Marcila out of the four names and closed his handicam. He left the place with a wicked smile.
Monday morning Hotel 'Rendezvous' was swamped with police men. Media persons were waiting like a voracious fox for a picture of Marcila's dead body. Crowd’s number was growing and throngs were becoming restless to know what and how it happened.
Inspector Madrian was waiting for Chief investigating officer Rodriguez. He had prepared a short note for chief about Marcila. Mr. Rodriguez was a well know detective in criminal world. He has solved 19 cases which were recorded in books for trainees in Crime investigation Department. Inspector Madrian was losing his patients, as media was framing new stories about the murder.
Madrian adjusted his pant over his belly and gave horrendous stare at the crowd. He was 6 feet tall with a masculine body. Only one odd thing in his perfect body was his belly. At the age of 40 he was one among those respected servants. As the Rassburg city had low crime rate, Madrian was worried about this murder. There were many strange things about the murder; it was not for theft or a rape attempt and Marcila had a faultless public record. While his mind was raving for answer, he heard a police siren approaching him. It was Rodriguez. Chief wore a black suite with impeccable tie flowing majestically over his body. He looked much younger than his age.
Inspector saluted and welcomed him inside the hotel.
" Any traces of criminal ??" asked Rodriguez.
" No sir, killer seemed to be interesting. There was no intention of robbery. Our dog squad could not trace his path as he had sprinkled pepper powder over the entrance. Murder plot was well planned and executed more cautiously. The freezer was operated with a sound automated device which would increase the room temperature with the increase in decibel level. Even the hotel people were not aware of these modification done to their freeze r" said Inspector.
Rodriguez walked into that huge freezer room. In the midst of many meat logs, her body was lying like a dead snail. He scrupulously checked the room for any evidence. But he could not find anything appealing that could help his investigation.
Rodriguez came out and asked “ Who is this lady and did you inform this to her family? "
" Her name is Ms. Marcila Fernandez, a reporter in EW TV channel. She used to host some reality show and a well known program 'Scapegoat'. We have informed this to her parents. They are waiting outside. Mr. Fernandez was a retired government servant. Marcila seemed to be friendly with her peers and hence no suspects. It seems to be action with prior enmity. But the killer should be a psycho as he has taken so much effort to kill her with all these set up in freezer " said Madrian.
Rodriguez thought for a moment and said " We need to visit EW’s office. We will start our investigation from there“ Both of them left the place, ordering the ambulance to take dead body for Postmortem.
Meanwhile the killer was having espresso thinking about his next plan.
Police car stopped at 3 rd Avenue Street and security guards opened the gate. They entered the office to see everyone shocked. The receptionist guided them to Mr. Chairman.
Dr. Richard was sitting in his cabin. His face was pale. He could not believe the death of his assistant. He welcomed officers and offered them a seat.
Rodriguez said “ Mr. Richard extremely sorry for the loss. My name is Rodriguez Bentel and this is Inspector Madrian. We are investigating Ms.Marcila's murder. We expect your cooperation ”
Chairman told " I will do anything to help you in this case. I have called all my employees who worked with Marcila. They would answer your questions ".
Chairman took them to a conference room where 12 employees were sitting. Most of them were worried and few of them were frightened. Rodriquez introduced him and addressed them about the issue. He gave a rough picture about the crime to gather varied opinions from those people. He was trying to extract maximum about Marcila. Inspector gathered information about her programs, her friends and her work. There wasn’t much things Rodriguez could use for this case. But he felt that her murder had something to do with her work.
Rodriquez returned with inspector to police station. They started listing all possible suspects.
That night, Killer had planned for another murder. He took a taxi to a ‘Nazzirock’ pub. He was waiting inside for his next prey. He made sure that the leather bag had those necessary objects for his plan.
After an hour, a black man entered the pub. He was short and stout. His name was Johnsons. He ordered for his favorite Martini and was enjoying the ambience with his friends. The killer was waiting for a chance to hunt him down.
After few minutes, Johnson stood up and walked away from his friends.
Killer took the filled syringe with him. He followed Johnson to restroom. He waited for others to vacate the restroom. As Johnson was left alone, he entered silently. He aimed at Johnson’s neck and stabbed with the syringe. Johnson could see only killer’s face. The toxin paralyzed his muscles and arrested his mobility. He took Johnson to generator room. He left a paper which said “ MORE YOU SCREAM MORE YOU LIVE… ” But Johnson could hardly say something as the toxin reacted with the alcohol and blocked his vocal sac. Killer switched on his handicam and started recording.
Johnson died within 5 mins. As the pub had many people getting high and making noise, none had doubt. Johnson's friend tried to contact him through phone.
As they could not reach him they left the place thinking that Johnson has left the pub. Killer checked Johnson’s pulses and closed his handicam. He had same wicked smile. He stroke another name from the list leaving only two more.

When Rodriguez reached the spot Madrian had made all arrangements for investigation. Finger print experts where working seriously. Rodriguez was shocked to find the same note near the dead body. His intuition said that there were more to come.
He spoke to his department people to get information on Johnson and Marcila. He sent Madrian to EW station to enquire about their joint work. Rodriguez was looking at Johnson. The nerves in the body were very visible and his nose was bleeding. The forensic expert took the body for autopsy. Chief was looking at the paper. “ MORE YOU SCREAM MORE YOU LIVE ". His imagination was growing wild. He understood that he was looking for a killer who is highly dangerous.
Rodriguez was sure that this murder had something to do with EW TV. Killer's next target could be one among those 11 employees. He wanted to avoid the next murder but did not know how. He was investigating at a killer who is highly equipped and clearly organized. He was also sure that this was a job of one person as the foot marks near his body were matching to only two foot prints. Rodriguez expected something to happen immediately, as he was aware that killer wouldn’t give police enough time to take him down. So his hunt for next victim must have started by now. He ordered his department men to give protection to EW office and all its employees . He sat inside the car and was looking carefully at the paper. The word ‘scream’ disturbed him..............................

He left the conference room immediately. This caught Rodriguez attention. Inspector Madrian was ordered to keep an eye on Andy. That day Andy took half day leave and left the office.
Rodriguez asked chairman to give details about all the shows in which Marcila and Johnson were involved. He learned that Marcila had worked in 6 reality shows and 2 soaps. Johnson was part of only 2 shows. So Rodriguez decided to start from Johnson’s program.
He worked as an art director and editor of the program “Scapegoat” and “Daily dairy”. Of these two, “Daily dairy” was related to ladies day -today activities. It included interviews of actresses and fashion designers.
But “Scapegoat” was a different show, where people who were cheated and made scapegoats by industrialist and politicians were focused. It also did programs in which people were fooled by some petty tricks. It was one of the well known shows of EW TV. But ‘SCAPEGOAT’ was not telecasted for past two weeks for some unknown reason. On Rodriguez’s enquiry, he was told that it was cancelled because the sponsors backed out.
But chief noticed that there were 6 major sponsors for that show and he had doubts how all of them could suddenly withdraw from it. Chief also collected information about other shows in which Marcila was involved. He took videos of all the recent shows of Marcilla and Johnson.
He left the EW office after warning its employees to be very careful.
Even while driving, his mind was thinking about the show “Scapegoat” and its sudden truncation. He called his department people to check for any police case filed against EW channel in relation to ‘scapegoat’. He reached the office and started looking at the videos. He wanted to avoid other murders that were to follow. He ordered for police protection to all those 11 employees. While he was watching a ‘scapegoat’ video, he got a call from Inspector Andrian.
He said “ Sir, I was following Andy. He left the office and drove straight to Mullet street. He has booked an air ticket to Kent city. After that he suddenly got out of my sight.
He was acting weirdly. He changed his destination thrice while booking the tickets. The man sitting in the booking counter said that Andy was not feeling. So we are trying our best to trace him. He could be the criminal we are looking for. Though we don’t have arrest warrant, I have ordered for his arrest at sight .”
Rodriguez was listening carefully. He took the records of Andy in hands and started reading. He understood that Andy was the man behind the show “Scapegoat”. He directed it and framed all the tricks. He ordered for a special security for those involved in that show. He was expecting the criminal to strike tonight at his next target. Rodriguez had set trap for that killer. But killer was also not an easy bird to catch.
That evening he got a call from Forensic department stating that the report of Johnson’s postmortem was ready. They also informed Rodriguez, that Johnson was killed by a special Mycotoxin from fungi Cylindrocarpon strain mixed with methyl cyanide at low concentration. This toxin would prevent DNA, RNA and protein synthesis. It was intended to keep the person alive at least for 15 mins and the interesting part is that it cannot be found in autopsy. Only pathologist could identify this specific strain. But the reaction of toxin with the alcohol consumed by Johnson caused him early death.
Chief enquired about the toxin’s availability. But they said that it was not a usual one used by common criminals. It was blended in perfect mixture for special purpose. The fungi’s toxin was not available commercially. It should have cultivated individually or got it from some research station.
Chief kept the phone thinking about the toxin. He became little tensed as the killer was not some ordinary maniac hanging out in city. His murder plan has been highly organized and unpredictably executed.
Meanwhile the Killer was following Andy in ‘China town market’. There were unimaginable crowd and Andy wanted to roam among the people and take the flight to Kent by that night. He was sure that he would be the next target and would become an easy prey to the killer, if he stays in single place. He wanted to take police help, but was afraid of that incident that happened three weeks back.
While Andy settled to have a sandwich, he felt a hand over his shoulder. Immediately a cloth covered in nose and Andy fainted.
After an hour Andy woke up to see himself locked inside a glass chamber. Suddenly water started to flow inside from two ports. At the top there was a paper which said “ MORE YOU SCREAM MORE YOU LIVE ”…
He did not understand anything. He looked outside the through the glass window. Killer was standing with the same iniquitous smile. He made an arrangement where the rate of water flow could only be minimized by the increase in decibel level. Andy was shouting like a mad hound. But as his throat dried, water flooded the tank. The salt water had filled his lung's cavity. He was struggling to breathe. After few minutes his body was floating. Killer closed his handicam and stroke Andy from the list, leaving only one name.
Inspector Madrian was informed about Andy's death; another victim from EW. As the news of Andy’s death reached EW office, everyone was trembling with fear.
Rodriguez entered EW office. He was feeling ashamed as he couldn’t save Andy; even he knew that Andy would be the next target. He was sure that the killer was not a psycho as his plan had some hidden motive.
Police men got a paper from the chamber. He was completely wet with water. But everyone could guess the words written in it.
While Rodriguez and inspector were searching for another clue from scapegoat videos, he got a call from his department men. They informed him about a case filed against EW TV against the murder of a boy. But file was closed within two days, as it was withdrawn. This happened exactly three weeks back. Rodriguez was expecting some twist in this. The case was filed against Chairman Richard.
Inspector Madrian was told to bring the chairman into the conference room. Mr. Richardson walked slowly with his mind filled with some haunting thoughts. Rodriguez could read his fear. He knew that it would not be difficult to get truth from the old man at this situation. Rodriguez said " Mr. Chairman, all I can do to save you is by hearing truth from your mouth. Tell me about the murder case filed against you. It would not be a nice idea to hide something from police, as we are the only person whom you can trust at this point of time ".
There was a long pause. Chairman started “ It’s too late to hide it. The show ‘scapegoat’ was bringing lots of sponsors and hence we were forced to bring something new to the show. Just like other episodes we decided to shoot a show "scream ”. It was not intended to cause any harm to public... We wanted to capture the scream of people by threatening them in funny way. And while doing that we lost a life. Andy was directing it. Marcila dressed herself as a monster. Johnson was also involved in it. They were waiting for a scapegoat at night over the Wilson Bridge. And that is when this boy happened to pass by. He was walking in the pedestrian path. Marcila's sudden threatening caused that boy to fall from the bridge. They tried to save him. But before that a train smashed his body. His father, who was walking behind him, lost his conscious seeing his son's body crushed to pieces. He was admitted in hospital. I was informed immediately. But I did not want EW's reputation to be damaged. The sponsor's money was managed for another show. The boy's name was Samir Mohammed. His father lodged a murder complaint against EW. But I was forced to use the political influence to save my channel. He was threatened with Terrorist act against Samir and him. Fearing the perdition of his family, he committed suicide and the case was withdrawn. Family members were not even ready to accept the compensation amount. This happened 15 days ago. I have been keeping a constant check on the boy’s family members. But they have moved out of the city.. ."
Rodriguez was recording it. Now it was very clear that killer would come for Mr. Richard. Tight security was put for chairman. Richard was arrested but kept in office to catch the killer. To prevent the leak of this news to public, everything in the office was told to proceed as per daily agenda. All those who behaved suspiciously were ordered to be arrested.

His weapon was a Botulinum neurotoxin, one of the most potent natural toxins known. It could cause brain damage in short time. For any conditions like this, Paramedics will give try to make the heart and lungs of patients work at initial level. It would need a pathologist or a neurologist to find the neurotoxin’s effect. He was all set to take his next prey.

Killer entered the office as a guard. His identity proof matched his face. He had the plastic covering his thumb with same finger print of the kidnapped guard. His entry to office was very easy but crossing Rodriguez was very difficult. He was waiting for Rodriguez to move away from chairman.
Mr. Richard was supposed to approve the program of EW channel every day and as a part of that he was supposed to sign few documents.
This time it was presented by killer. Richard was offered a pen by the guard. When Richard, pressed it at the top, he experienced a prick in his right thumb. He neglected and signed one document. As the needle at the top of the pen was coated with toxin, Richard started experiencing some pain. Killer took the documents and left a paper with a word ’SCREAM’ in it.
Before Rodriguez found chairman’s condition, the killer left the office with the same wicked smile. But the police camera recorded everything.
AS Mr. Richard was rushed to hospital, Rodriguez got information about, Abdul Nazir a cousin brother of Samir who was killed. He was doing his masters in drugs and biometrics in Manchester's university. They have even confirmed from university about the availability of mycotoxin used to kill Johnson. It was clear that Nazir was the killer. But he was to be caught with evidence.
Rodriguez had already gave orders to arrest Nazir for investigation.Inspector Madrian went in person to Nazir's apartment as ordered by Rodriguez. There he found the videos of first three murders. Police force was waiting, when he entered. He smiled at them and raised his hands for handcuff. Killer was sure of Rodriguez's ability to trace him.
But Nazir was happy that he couldn’t stop him from taking revenge against his brother's murderers.
Later Inspector came to know that all those videos were already published in internet. Nazir also had the video of his brother's death. Behind the bars, in jail, he screamed with a great relief. Chairman died on his way to hospital...Though Rodriguez solved this case, he couldn’t avoid two deaths. He got a call and was ready for his next case...

Rodriguez was listening carefully. He took the records of Andy in hands and started reading. He understood that Andy was the man behind the show “Scapegoat”. He directed it and framed all the tricks. He ordered for a special security for those involved in that show. He was expecting the criminal to strike tonight at his next target. Rodriguez had set trap for that killer. But killer was also not an easy bird to catch.
That evening he got a call from Forensic department stating that the report of Johnson’s postmortem was ready. They also informed Rodriguez, that Johnson was killed by a special Mycotoxin from fungi Cylindrocarpon strain mixed with methyl cyanide at low concentration. This toxin would prevent DNA, RNA and protein synthesis. It was intended to keep the person alive at least for 15 mins and the interesting part is that it cannot be found in autopsy. Only pathologist could identify this specific strain. But the reaction of toxin with the alcohol consumed by Johnson caused him early death.
Chief enquired about the toxin’s availability. But they said that it was not a usual one used by common criminals. It was blended in perfect mixture for special purpose. The fungi’s toxin was not available commercially. It should have cultivated individually or got it from some research station.
Chief kept the phone thinking about the toxin. He became little tensed as the killer was not some ordinary maniac hanging out in city. His murder plan has been highly organized and unpredictably executed.
Meanwhile the Killer was following Andy in ‘China town market’. There were unimaginable crowd and Andy wanted to roam among the people and take the flight to Kent by that night. He was sure that he would be the next target and would become an easy prey to the killer, if he stays in single place. He wanted to take police help, but was afraid of that incident that happened three weeks back.
While Andy settled to have a sandwich, he felt a hand over his shoulder. Immediately a cloth covered in nose and Andy fainted.
After an hour Andy woke up to see himself locked inside a glass chamber. Suddenly water started to flow inside from two ports. At the top there was a paper which said “ MORE YOU SCREAM MORE YOU LIVE ”…
He did not understand anything. He looked outside the through the glass window. Killer was standing with the same iniquitous smile. He made an arrangement where the rate of water flow could only be minimized by the increase in decibel level. Andy was shouting like a mad hound. But as his throat dried, water flooded the tank. The salt water had filled his lung's cavity. He was struggling to breathe. After few minutes his body was floating. Killer closed his handicam and stroke Andy from the list, leaving only one name.
Inspector Madrian was informed about Andy's death; another victim from EW. As the news of Andy’s death reached EW office, everyone was trembling with fear.
Rodriguez entered EW office. He was feeling ashamed as he couldn’t save Andy; even he knew that Andy would be the next target. He was sure that the killer was not a psycho as his plan had some hidden motive.
Police men got a paper from the chamber. He was completely wet with water. But everyone could guess the words written in it.
While Rodriguez and inspector were searching for another clue from scapegoat videos, he got a call from his department men. They informed him about a case filed against EW TV against the murder of a boy. But file was closed within two days, as it was withdrawn. This happened exactly three weeks back. Rodriguez was expecting some twist in this. The case was filed against Chairman Richard.
Inspector Madrian was told to bring the chairman into the conference room. Mr. Richardson walked slowly with his mind filled with some haunting thoughts. Rodriguez could read his fear. He knew that it would not be difficult to get truth from the old man at this situation. Rodriguez said " Mr. Chairman, all I can do to save you is by hearing truth from your mouth. Tell me about the murder case filed against you. It would not be a nice idea to hide something from police, as we are the only person whom you can trust at this point of time ".
There was a long pause. Chairman started “ It’s too late to hide it. The show ‘scapegoat’ was bringing lots of sponsors and hence we were forced to bring something new to the show. Just like other episodes we decided to shoot a show "scream ”. It was not intended to cause any harm to public... We wanted to capture the scream of people by threatening them in funny way. And while doing that we lost a life. Andy was directing it. Marcila dressed herself as a monster. Johnson was also involved in it. They were waiting for a scapegoat at night over the Wilson Bridge. And that is when this boy happened to pass by. He was walking in the pedestrian path. Marcila's sudden threatening caused that boy to fall from the bridge. They tried to save him. But before that a train smashed his body. His father, who was walking behind him, lost his conscious seeing his son's body crushed to pieces. He was admitted in hospital. I was informed immediately. But I did not want EW's reputation to be damaged. The sponsor's money was managed for another show. The boy's name was Samir Mohammed. His father lodged a murder complaint against EW. But I was forced to use the political influence to save my channel. He was threatened with Terrorist act against Samir and him. Fearing the perdition of his family, he committed suicide and the case was withdrawn. Family members were not even ready to accept the compensation amount. This happened 15 days ago. I have been keeping a constant check on the boy’s family members. But they have moved out of the city.. ."
Rodriguez was recording it. Now it was very clear that killer would come for Mr. Richard. Tight security was put for chairman. Richard was arrested but kept in office to catch the killer. To prevent the leak of this news to public, everything in the office was told to proceed as per daily agenda. All those who behaved suspiciously were ordered to be arrested.
Killer was watching everything. He has already set three micro cameras in EW office. He even kidnapped a security guard. This time his plan was to be changed. His weapon was a Botulinum neurotoxin, one of the most potent natural toxins known. It could cause brain damage in short time. For any conditions like this, Paramedics will give try to make the heart and lungs of patients work at initial level. It would need a pathologist or a neurologist to find the neurotoxin’s effect. He was all set to take his next prey.
Rodriguez was guarding EW employees along with inspector. Apparently he was collecting details about Samir's family member and distant relatives. He could smell something fishy in that. He contacted his department men and gave some orders about an individual.
Next day afternoon there was a shift in the securities of EW office.
Killer entered the office as a guard. His identity proof matched his face. He had the plastic covering his thumb with same finger print of the kidnapped guard. His entry to office was very easy but crossing Rodriguez was very difficult. He was waiting for Rodriguez to move away from chairman.
Mr. Richard was supposed to approve the program of EW channel every day and as a part of that he was supposed to sign few documents.
This time it was presented by killer. Richard was offered a pen by the guard. When Richard, pressed it at the top, he experienced a prick in his right thumb. He neglected and signed one document. As the needle at the top of the pen was coated with toxin, Richard started experiencing some pain. Killer took the documents and left a paper with a word ’SCREAM’ in it.
Before Rodriguez found chairman’s condition, the killer left the office with the same wicked smile. But the police camera recorded everything.
AS Mr. Richard was rushed to hospital, Rodriguez got information about, Abdul Nazir a cousin brother of Samir who was killed. He was doing his masters in drugs and biometrics in Manchester's university. They have even confirmed from university about the availability of mycotoxin used to kill Johnson. It was clear that Nazir was the killer. But he was to be caught with evidence.
Rodriguez had already gave orders to arrest Nazir for investigation.Inspector Madrian went in person to Nazir's apartment as ordered by Rodriguez. There he found the videos of first three murders. Police force was waiting, when he entered. He smiled at them and raised his hands for handcuff. Killer was sure of Rodriguez's ability to trace him.
But Nazir was happy that he couldn’t stop him from taking revenge against his brother's murderers.
Later Inspector came to know that all those videos were already published in internet. Nazir also had the video of his brother's death. Behind the bars, in jail, he screamed with a great relief. Chairman died on his way to hospital...Though Rodriguez solved this case, he couldn’t avoid two deaths. He got a call and was ready for his next case...
